They're diplomatic and are not passing along verbatim the things I have to say about these people. Took a look at this other property yesterday after running some errands, and the back part of the lot slopes down alarmingly. It won't do, so has been crossed off the list. We're going to go kick the tires again of one we saw last Thursday (inground, heated pool, gigantic florida room, acre and a half - which is a good enough size for what I want to do - and so on). This one was actually my second choice of the properties we've seen recently, and since no one but me wants to move to Macclenny to real farm country, we're revisiting this one.
