Quite all right. I can get rather wordy myself from time to time. Like you, I think it's important that people see the process, even from a small operation. If I can find out where and when the butcher is going to be doing it, I'd like to see the processing of a cow the next time we order beef (we ordered a quarter beef, which amounted to just over 120 pounds in the end), and take some photos of that as well.

Happy New Year!!!

Thank you for posting the graphic pictures of the stuff most people do not want to see.

I think this is a great way for people to see how 'happy' chickens & turkeys live good natural lives & are killed in the least painful way possible.

I wish we could see footage from CAFOs way of handling the meat most of the US population puts in their table...then people would not be squirmy at all about the stuff you posted here.

This year one of my goals is to go beyond researching and trusting the 'free range' & 'organic' labels & also find turkey and chickens raised in our area the old fashion way. I am also in the lookout for good milk as we are now making our own cheese! YUM!

Sorry for the long email...get a bit carried away on matters of cooking & free range poultry...☺
