Yay, dogs! He's just beautiful, Annette.

I always feel so bad for border collies whose humans don't give them a chance to run off their crazy energy, so I'm glad *you* got him!

This is Mickey. When he raises his ears, he does look a bit like a Mouseketeer. At the moment, he's in his den under the dining room table, gnawing away on a ham bone.

Why do we do this? Because we're suckers. That's the only plausible explanation I can come up with. I should note that despite one foray into my peas/broccoli (and after being told no very firmly), Mickey does quite well at avoiding running into that piece of the yard when he's bolting around outside. Good dog.

i've been trying to find homes for two of our cats...and now i'm having to think of giving up our tabby/maine coon - she's really unhappy and is spraying...and on top of all that? the s-i-l is having to give up her two bichons, and we may (sigh) take the older one (who hero worships our oldest bichon). why do we do this to ourselves??? (however, we've now started thinking about moving to a house with a big garden. like you, we want to grow our own!)

We went to the Mandarin center. It's about half a mile north of I295 on San Jose, in the Powerhouse Gym shopping center.
